Hello, I'm Sean.
I have been a broadcast lighting DP/Camera Operator for over 25 years, with experience in both digital and analog formats. I have shot and lit a vast array of programs throughout my career including news, entertainment, sports, PSAs, documentaries, fashion, commercials, medical, and others. At times I have been part of a large group working on a project, and at others I have functioned as an individual operator. I have had the good fortune to work on both national and international programming, which has enabled me to gain a wealth of experience and technical knowledge. I am able to solve problems on and off the set, and in the field, quickly and efficiently. I work well under tight time constraints and deadlines, with efficiency and attention to detail while maintaining exceptional standards.
My background in shooting ENG operations, has allowed me to log many hours of shooting in distracting and harsh circumstances. I have captured surgeries in operating rooms, followed politicians, and covered protest marches and police riots, to name a few. While many think red carpet events are simply glamorous, I know firsthand how frenzied and competitive it is for a camera crew. I shot in the snow, rain, freezing temperatures and extreme heat. No matter the circumstance or surroundings I am known for maintaining a professional and friendly attitude.
I take great personal and professional interest in my job; it’s my livelihood and my passion. I continually strive to learn new things and stay current with ever changing camera and software technologies. I take great pride in my relationships with clients and colleagues alike, and am known for putting people at ease. While I am ambitious and driven, I am also a team player. My goal is to consistently make the most out of every opportunity by working positively and effectively with those around me.
