Executive Producer Required for Feature film. For the past two years I have been working on the pre-production of a feature film called “White Man’s Legacy in Africa”. In film making terms this is a major undertaking and it will require a sizable budget. I would like to have at least one million pounds to finance the film. It is an exciting adventure story with plenty of action and stunts. I recently made a teaser film to give an idea of the flavour of what to expect in the finished feature film. To this end I have managed to enlist the support of the government of Ivory Coast in the making of the film. The government is prepared to supply soldiers, weapons, locations, the assistance of serving Police Officers, security and transport around the country. Support “in kind” of this sort in financial terms is obviously considerable. I also want to make use of Scottish talent in the making of the film and to take a Scottish crew to Africa to make it. I have several people interested in investing money into the venture, including possible investment from the Ivory Coast government who are looking to improve their visibility/profile in the world. This film would be a step towards that goal. As I have stated the government are already prepared to offer assistance in kind. However before accepting any financial investment I would like to have the assistance of an experienced Executive Producer with a proven track record in this type of project to help progress it further, through the complexities of investment, copyright, contracts and so forth. When this film goes into production everyone will be paid. Everyone involved will be part of a Scottish feature film set in Africa.
