Paul has written and co-produced a number of successful comedy short films that have screened at many UK and international festivals. 'A Hitch in the Plan' was screened on ITV4. 'The Last Place You Look' won Best Film at Morbegno Film Festival and was showcased across Europe by Sony on the PSP console. 'Salsa Guy' which was executive produced by the BAFTA-winning writer David Quantick. Captive, starring David Cann (from Jam), won the Audience Award at Portobello Film Festival. 'Stand & Deliver' was nominated for both Best UK Short at the East End Film Festival and the Anthony Minghella Award for Best UK Short at Glimmer film festival.
Paul’s sketch work has appeared on Series 4 of BBC Radio 4′s 'Recorded for Training Purposes'. He also actively writes sketches and script edits for the forthcoming sketch collective Kaylosia, whose sketch ‘Posh Off’ won the audience award at the Cofilmic comedy film festival and who will be releasing further sketches and short films in 2015.
As well as developing a number of television comedy series and feature film projects, Paul’s treatment for comedy feature 'Perfect Record' was shortlisted for the Euroscript Scriptwriting Competition 2014. He is also shortly finishing his directorial debut short film 'Perception is All', about the world, the universe and pogoing.
Paul podcasts with his brother on, of all things, 80s/90s Sunday evening UK TV great Lovejoy. Imaginatively they called it: BRUVJOY.
