SYNOPSIS:

 ‘Border World’ is an epic action adventure echoing the spirit of the Flash Gordon serials, Raiders of the Lost Ark and the roller-coaster thrills of Jurassic Park. Set in a land divided by a mighty valley and conflicting beliefs, The North values science and the law. The anarchic South is polluted with false religion. Storyteller Maeden is on the wrong side of the border. The North forbids religious preaching, and by-the-book lawman Grimstone and his Regulators arrive to arrest the ‘zealots’. The law fires on innocent civilians. In the confusion, Grimstone saves Maeden by shooting one of his own men. Grimstone is sentenced to work on a railroad chain-gang. Devious outlaw Thefe is martyred by Uriah Ravanpor; a persuasive religious fanatic. Left for dead for his sins, Thefe is rescued by Lt. Piraeus, who discovers a book of spiritual folklore upon Thefe. The financially bankrupt North plans to invade the abundantly resourced South by constructing a bridge across the valley. A land-grab would result in an expensive civil war: An alternative option is required. Power-hungry Piraeus presents a solution: Uriah’s book details a mystical sword, which can unleash an ultimate power to control the world. The chain-gang is attacked by bandits, triggering a chaotic jail-break. Grimstone, Thefe and a small band of survivors are stranded on the valley floor. Personally motivated and mis-trusting of each other, they venture through perilous terrain, discovering a lost civilisation ruled by demonic King Arkadius. Through the black arts, Arkadius has brought is empire to the brink of a heavenly war; plotting to become ruler of the spirit world. If he succeeds, mankind will cease to exist. Only Thefe and Grimstone stand in his way.
