An Ohio couple move to a New York apartment building where they encounter quirky and eccentric neighbors and match wits with an elderly tenant named Mae who no one is sure even exists and then thought to be only a product of the imagination of a six year old child, until a sequence of strange events lead them to seek out the truth.
