About Mary

Hello! I am a graphic artist/photographer/painter and author of one book - non-fiction/spirituality - that is in print. I am looking for a literary agent and a screenwriter for my epic book. Much drama - that real life can be. From despair to hope, abuse to salvation, cancer to death, anger at God to feeling blessed and everything in between and other worldly. Thank you, Mary PS: I will add a review below.
“This book spoke about abuse, the loss of two children and a mother's love. The mother came out of all this tragedy with a greater faith, found the love of her life, and hopes to show others, in these situations, that you can survive and come out a stronger person!” ~~ Janese Base, RN, BSN
“A story that will take the reader into the depths of immense pain. Harrowing, and leaves one longing to see the end of all the hurting.” ~~ Jane Vergara, Author, Breaking the Scroll
When Angels Fly by S Jackson and A Raymond is a true story of the struggles of a mother before and during the illness and ultimate death of her five year old son. It is a story of perseverance, heartaches, courage, and a mother’s undying love for her child. The day by day account of little Eli’s last days were heart wrenching. I was especially moved by the July 31, 1990 entry. As Eli was being prepared for surgery, he wondered if he was going to die. Later he told his mother that he wanted to go to Heaven and be with his brother Joshua. I could feel this mother’s anguish at hearing these things from her baby boy, knowing they were probably true. After reading When Angels Fly, I realized how fortunate I am that my two children are alive and well. ~~ J. Thayer McKinney, Author, Haunting of LaBelle
This is the inspirational story about a woman who was able to rise above an extremely abusive childhood and later marriage, to learn faith, love, and motherhood from her own son’s courageous fight with cancer. It provides an illuminating example of how women who are in physically, mentally and emotionally abusive relationships can successfully escape even in the most challenging of times. It also warns of how the actions of medical professionals can be a soothing balm or a deadly arrow. The story draws the reader into the life of a mother and her wonderful little boy who is strong beyond his years and who leaves a lasting impression on all who knew him. ~~ M. Gielas
