Wynn Allen

Born at an early age in Brooklyn, then family moved to Summit, N.J. where I went the usual high school play route and some modeling. I went to Emerson College (Boston) and briefly studied acting with Ralph Maffongelli. In Boston, I had parts in theatre plays and local TV plays. Career route veered academic, completing a master's degree at Emerson and Ph.D. at UCLA. Many years later while a professor at Pepperdine University, I had the opportunity to do several indie films, including "Soul Killer" filmed in L A. A few years later I moved to Seattle where I've been doing extras work in indie films, highlighted by "Eden" and "Seven Minutes." Seattle brought forth TV commercials for University of Washington clinic in Issaquah (running 3 years to date) and two Microsoft commercials. Currently have two plays (comedy/life issues) co-written with Garr Kuhl that we are "walking around" Seattle, hoping for a production -- "Brims -- the Sequel" and "Peace Accord -- Revisited." Now, looking for acting gigs in theatre, film, or commercials -- just love acting.
