We enjoyed North Beach with its Italian restaurants, and the awesome bakeries that made out-of-this-world almond macaroons . The Bay area will always be one of my favorite places. Let's stay in touch and see if we can network effectively. Warm wishes! Otis

Are you still working on adapting the second half of your novel "Merlyn" to a screenplay? I'm pitching my latest script to TriStar tomorrow and the script is now being read by Shoreline Entertainment. Wish me luck! Take care, Melissa

Expand commentAwesome! Go get'm Girl! Please keep me informed. Sending you my thoughts and prayers for a successful pitch. Unfortunately, its been over ten years since I was last in San Francisco, and I don't remember Cafe Zoetrope. It might have existed then, but I don't remember going there. Have been to Mr. Coppola's winery though, and one of the managers shared some interesting history on the Tucker vehicles upstairs, along with several other items on display. Oh, and had a very off-the-wall experience in the Buena Vista Cafe one night, when I was the only male with several lady friends. I jokingly told a guy that kept walking by the table and gawking, that I was there with all of my wives. Guess he had just enough Irish Coffees to believe me. He jealously watched us leave, after the girls lovingly cuddled up to me, holding my arms and stroking my hair, and I told him it was bedtime. Yes, still working on the adaptation for the second half. The book is being reviewed by an Academy Award winning actor's production company, but as you well know, that could take a long time. Do let me know how you feel about your pitch to TriStar. Take care, Otis

This is a network for you, built by you. Like most things in life, the more you participate, the greater the rewards. We ask all new members to pay it forward by inviting 5 fellow creatives to the network and by spreading the word of Stage 32 through other social media sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. The more creatives, the stronger the network. The stronger the network, the more opportunities.
Thanks for joining the movement and for being a part of this most talented and inspiring community. I very much look forward to your contributions.
Thanks, and have a creative day!

As authors, screenwriters, playwrights, actors, directors, producers and invaluable crew, we're charged with creating worlds for others to eagerly lose themselves, by embarking on magic carpet rides into amazing adventures, where they can escape the worlds in which they're forced to exist.
