Luke Steingruby

Luke, a St. Louis native, is a classically trained vocalist and pianist who started performing in middle school. He has worked with several professional companies in the area including New Line Theatre, Dramatic License Productions, Mustard Seed Theatre, and Stray Dog Theatre. Luke was given the wonderful opportunity to play Angel in the regional premiere of Rent with New Line Theatre, for which he received a St. Louis Theater Circle Nomination for “Best Supporting Actor in a Musical” in 2015.

Other favorite credits include the world premiere and revival of All Is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914, which received five St. Louis Theater Circle Awards in 2014, Chris Alvaro (American regional premiere of Hands on a Hardbody), Duke (The Great American Trailer Park Musical), Tremont (Jerry Springer: The Opera), Anthony (Sweeney Todd), Jinx (Forever Plaid), and Tony (West Side Story).
