About Eric

Hi everybody,

I started writing screenplays back in the late 90’s and they all sucked.

After college, I took a couple of years off writing and joined the Navy. A couple of years into my service I wanted to start writing again, so I picked up where I left off, writing total horse-shit.

For years and years, I hoped one of my idiotic stories would take off and save me from my miserable life, but after meeting the women of my dreams, getting married, getting out of the Navy, getting a degree in nuclear engineering, moving to Germany, having a son, and landing a kick-ass job at one of the most advanced research facilities in the world, it seemed like everything was perfect, but still couldn’t help but feel that there was something missing.

So, last year after a seven year hiatus, I started writing again and this time…I was going to take it seriously.

I’ve all but given up on the fame and fortune. If it happens, it happens, but I’m not holding my breath, besides I’m having too much fun doing it for free.

I’ve written three screenplays in the last year. The first is called Bon Jovi Sucks. The story of a high school rocker, who becomes a social outcast after he becomes allergic to hairspray, in 1980’s New Jersey. It was a top 10 finalist in the Scriptwriters Network High Concept Screenplay Competition. After my success in that competition, I’ve since entered in additional contests and hope to land a prize in the not too distant future.

My next screenplay was called Pontiff No Return, an action adventure about a former Green Beret who is elected pope. As ridiculous as it sounds, it managed to be the highest rated screenplay for the month of December on Francis Ford Coppola's American Zoetrope website.

My latest screenplay is called The Mostly Never and Sometimes Always Dead, about an ex-Vegas cop who is the only thing standing in the way of a 260 year old casino mogul, turned voodoo god, starting a zombie takeover of the world.
