I'm a professional actor, writer, voice over artist, performer, producer and talent coordinator.
To get stage time I started out as a stand up comedian. That got menoticed by SKITIZOID comedy troupe. I performed and toured nationally with the company, eventually becoming the head writer and artistic director. I performed for a year at Atlantic City’s Tropicana Hotel Casino: there he had the opportunity to develop a stable of celebrity and original characters while building my improv skills.
I appeared in the off-Broadway hit Tony n' Tina's Wedding, The Line That Picked Up 1000 Babes, Bernie's Bar Mitzvah and KABOOM directed by BT McNicoll. My off-off Broadway credits include The Execution (NEA Award Winner) and Big Blonde. Along with theatre work I appeared in the feature films Meet The Spartans, Disaster Movie, Not Another Celebrity Movie and 30 Nights of Paranormal Activity. I was thankful to be cast as Howie Reinstein in the Heidi and Kennedy episode of The Soprano’s. I have numerous national commercials to my credit including VISA, Olive Garden, Comcast, Miller Beer, and recently shot a commercial in Israel as Jay Leno for the Israeli Lottery.
During my time in New York he was a member of the Creative Concepts Theatre Group, The Kraine and "Some Assembly Required", one of New York Citys' finest improvisation companies. During my time with SAR John honed his improv and comedic abilities even more.
I'm originally from the Philadelphia area and now live in Las Vegas. I attended East Stroudsburg University and graduated from Temple University with a BA in Speech Communications. I spent a year as PR Intern for U.S. Senator Arlen Specter. I over came a severe speech impediment to become an actor, impersonator and performer. I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to perform for audiences all over the US and the world including Rome Italy, Berlin Germany and Bangkok Thailand to name a few.
