Martina Acazi

Photographer and filmmaker, she graduated in Disciplines of Art, Music and Performing Arts at the University of Padua in 2009 with a thesis on the analysis of short films of Pixar Animation Studios. In 2010, she specialized in the Wildlife Film Academy in South Africa and she went back the following year to participate in the Wild Talk Africa in Cape Town.
She constantly attends refresher courses in the field of photography and visual arts with professors such as Carlo Bragagnolo. In 2012 she was chosen to take part in the international project SPACE: a European network for dance creation in Bassano del Grappa (VI). It looks into the relationship of performing arts with new technologies thanks to the lessons of international artists such as Lucy Cash, Gitta Wigro, Nicole Sailer and Dany Mitzman.
She is also committed in theatrical training. In the beginning she attended some courses headed by Nin Scolari, later she took part in the masks workshops of Matteo Destro and Alay Makazaga.In 2013 she participated and organized training workshops on film acting with Vasco Mirandola.
After working in several local TV stations, in 2011 she joined the project MADS – Multimedia Art Design Studio, where she works as a director, photographer and filmmaker. In 2012 she also attended a course for professional steadicam operator.
Since 2013 she has been working professionally with films productions like Think Cattleya, The Munchies Movies Production, Jengafilm and Everest Film Productions.
Since 2012 she is part of the board of the international festival of short films Corti a Ponte.
Passionate from a young age for nature and the outdoors, she is currently an International Scout Leader, specializing in the fields of national training both in the techniques of scouting and bushcrafting, and in the multimedia communication techniques, thanks to the skills gained in the professional area.
