Antonis Katsoris

I have studied film and media in the U.K. and have worked for six years in Mega TV, one of the most important TV networks in Greece, first as News Bulletin Director and then as Trailers Director in the On Air Promotion department. In 2010 I left Mega and freelanced as Assistant Director and Producer’s Assistant in a number of T.V commercials in order to gain experience in the field of Television Production. In 2011 I worked as project manager and main editor for “Explore Nautilus”, the first Greek Oceanographic Documentary. From 2011 until 2014 I lived in Paris - France where I worked as Media Director for the then newly-formed Parisian Hip Hop Artist Collective RapMag. I planned, filmed and edited the videos that were necessary at the time for the collective to form its initial image and attract its first sponsors. I also cooperated with French Hip Hop artists and Electronic Music composers for the creation of their promotional Documentaries and Video Clips. My main source of inspiration is Independent Filmmaking and particularly its capability to explore the language of cinema in fresh and daring ways.
