My first attempt to combine 3D with a live action plate.
This is the latest in what will probably be a long line of visual effects tests. I'm not happy with the moving car, but I've got to spend some time looking for actual paid work, so for the time being it will have to do.
In my continuing efforts to put Northern Ireland on the visual effects map, I thought I'd take a literal approach ;o) There are a lot of great Earth zoom effects out there, but I haven't seen any from Belfast, so I thought I'd give it a go.

Here's my attempt at the famous bullet time effect. As ever I tried to add a little something to the original effect. I hope you like it. This is for a low budget feature "Avenging Angel" by Silver Sombrero Pictures in association with myself (Planetmirth) and Corish Productions. 3D work was with Lightwave. Compositing with After Effects.
