Filmmaker Magazine 2002, named Brian To No. 5 to watch in "25 New Faces of Indie Film", after his film AUDIT premiered at the LA FILM FESTIVAL and sold at the IFP NY market. AUDIT played on IFC, HERE! TV, and was recently released on DVD for purchase at: Reframe Collection.
AUDIT screened at more than sixty international film festivals and won the Best Short Film at the WIN Femme Film Festival. The Dublin Film and Music Fleadh also awarded AUDIT the Best Film and Best actress for lead Judy Greer (HENRY'S CRIME). AUDIT also stars Sally Kirkland (ANNA) and Alexis Arquette (PULP FICTION).
As a UCLA Film/TV graduate, Brian To directed Public Service Announcements for Beyond Shelter, which benefits homeless families, and Haven House, a group that aids battered women and children. Additionally, Brian directed the educational documentary CHILDREN OF INCARCERATED PARENTS, and THE VIRTUAL SEX PROJECT, three USC interactive videos to reduce high-risk sexual behavior. He also directed a PSA for the L.A. Metro Task Force on Human Trafficking for their campaign KNOW HUMAN TRAFFICKING.
