Alan Ma is a writer, journalist from Lima-Peru. Ma’s studies in Psychology and his subsequent experience in the Art scene that include Film production and studies in Literature, Philosophy and Poetry has led to an introspective and successful career in writing.

In 2007, during his time in central America Alan Ma published his first book “La Belleza Es La Armonia de Los Defectos,” translated as “Beauty is The Harmony of Imperfections.” As a recent transplant in Los Angeles, Alan Ma continues to write professionally, both as an independent journalist and creative author, honoring his writing skills and pursuing opportunities in screen-writing.

Alan Ma is a theorist aficionado and an avid traveler with expertise in big and low-budget excursions. He is actively seeking to publish reviews and cutting-edge articles about culture, philosophy, arts and activism while he continues his work on his long-from projects that include several film scripts and his first novel for an English-speaking market.
