Josh Cruddas is an actor, film composer and singer based in Canada.
His work as an actor includes a leading role in Ron Maxwell's (Gettysburg) upcoming Civil War drama, "Copperhead," starring alongside Peter Fonda, Billy Campbell, Angus MacFadyen and Francois Arnaud.
Other principal roles on screen include "Call Me Fitz" for HBO and "Titanic: The Aftermath" for Discovery Channel.
On stage, credits include the opportunities to play principal roles at leading regional theatres in Atlantic Canada, including Neptune Theatre, Eastern Front, Live Bait and Halifax Theatre for Young People. He has also worked as a voice-over artist for CTV and CBC.
Josh also works writing music for film. His work includes films produced in Los Angeles, New York and Vancouver, as well as his hometown of Halifax. His score for LA-based director Simon Hung's film "Spiral" was named one of the top three film scores by a young Canadian in 2011. His score for the Cannes-selected short film, "Mr. Monster" recently won best music out of 40 features and shorts at a prominent American Indie film festival.
