Alex Zafer

Currently I maintain a studio space with a collective of producers and creatives including bringing to Hamilton Ontario from Toronto the Q.E.D Media group, a full-spectrum audio/visual service provider.

I work often as a freelance photographer / videographer (available for assignments nearly anywhere in the world). I've had the opportunity to work on various TV/Film, Indie productions, Web media projects with credits as Writer, Producer, Cam-Op, DP, Editor, Photographer, Actor. My latest projects include artist documentary projects, live performance music video productions, pilots, web series, and short-film. Acting and voice-over work is something I'm very interested in.

My photography has been selected for photo-art exhibits in Spain, Japan, United States and Canada. Over the years I have had images used for various film and tv productions (including location shoots) with featured photos in several print and digital publications including the CBC, Hamilton Spectator, Urbanicity Magazine, View Magazine, Digital Journal, The 37th Frame, Blur Magazine, JPG Magazine, Momentum Magazine, Hamilton Musician Magazine, Etsy Canada, EYE Magazine, The Hamiltonian, The Pearl Review... festival souvenir magazines, blogs, and other editorials. Both large or small projects, commercial or otherwise, fellow artists, collaborators, filmmakers, creative directors, advertising agencies, web designers, and non-profit organizations have utilized my services.

Lensing is my passion. It's not what you see that matters so much, but rather how you see it.

Additional Background: Alex Zafer has several years of business development, leadership and management expertise; marketing, promotion, corporate communications, team mobilization and operations management, Alex has also been active on the web scene since the mid-90's producing many Internet projects worldwide.
