SYNOPSIS:

Nadonis Sebastian has become unglued. In 2020, Nadonis was living the good life; happily married mother of three beautiful children, a huge lovely home, a blossoming career as an assistant prosecutor in Cincinnati, Ohio, with rumors of eventually becoming the prosecutor - Quite impressive for a millennial young African-American woman from small-town Ohio.

Until she abruptly dies on February 29th, 2020.

As cracks in her perfect life unravel, it exposes loose threads of disgraced husband Cecil Sebastian's political entanglements with his eventual downfall, head prosecutor Christian Phillip’s corruption of entitlement and ungrateful jealous peers disrupt her life. Alienated from her depressed husband constantly sulking in his sorrow, Nadonis spends considerable time with county aide Mitchell Gardner.

Then the unthinkable happens during a peaceful winter bicycle ride as Nadonis and Mitchell are violently run off of a bridge and perish in the raging current of the icy Mad River below. Until she abruptly awakens on February 29th, 2024. Confused and all alone in her SUV, wearing warm pajamas, no cell phone service, and with two inches of dust on her dash. Adding to her confusion is that she is parked on the wrong side of the Jeremiah Morrow Bridge 225 feet over the Little Miami River facing south on the northbound shoulder. What happens next is seemingly guided by unseen spirits as Nadonis learns a hard lesson of life through a series of unfounded events.

Act I is her wake-up call as leap day 2024 rewinds itself seven times - aka the Groundhog Day effect - until her guardian angel Grandma Haddox gets her on track figuring out who attempted to murder her.

Act II is reconnecting with lost friends and family as she wrestles with the fact she is officially deceased, her Social Security number is invalid, her bank accounts are closed, her identification has expired, she basically does not exist, yet somehow, here she is. Her children don’t even recognize her and Cecil has remarried Jocelyn Sebastian! And now is the perfect time to figure out who murdered her as she sets about finding information. The police also are curious how she fits into the murder of her partner Mitchell as the cold case is reopened with her now as the prime suspect.

Act III has Nadonis reckoning with the life-changing events that have transpired as she seeks justice. With detective duo Shiloh Zarantos and Fendi Alexanders analyzing her every move, she teams with college BFF Lisa Goodsbe and sister Athena Haddox to keep one step ahead of them. Nadonis avoids another attempt at her life by being rescued by a local jazz musician Dwight Jukebox Jr. before being reunited with her brother Horus Haddox. Off to where it all started to grandmother's house they go, there together the girls come face to face with the past and confront Nadonis murderer.
