About Don

Don is a 25 year radio veteran who began his career broadcasting Bay Area traffic reports from the sky and on the ground on stations such as KCBS, KRQR, KTIM and KSRO. In 1992, he helped found the San Francisco Bureau of Shadow Broadcast Services.

In 1998, Don came to Los Angeles as the Director of Operations for AirWatch America. In the years that followed, AirWatch grew to be the largest traffic reporting operation in the country with over 60 broadcasters handling 42 radio affiliates, including KFI, KIIS, and KOST, and one television affiliate, ABC7, in the Southern California region. 



While in LA, Don made the occasional on-air appearance doing news and traffic on KFI, KTLK and KRLA.

He attended San Francisco State University and in 1990 was a National Collegiate Debate Champion. In the past few years he has written, produced and/or directed 6 short films as well written 4 feature length scripts.

Don’s has two projects curently touring the film festival circuit. Both are short films, Accused (directed by Marcus Casian) and I Scream You Scream (directed by Michael Switzer).
