Following a series of disappearances and cover-ups at a seemingly abandoned but mysteriously guarded plantation in rural New Orleans, a team of investigators is hired by a human rights organization to sneak onto the plantation in search of answers, where they not only discover a group of genetically-mutated creatures that have lived there for hundreds of years, but also, that the source of the creatures’ mutation proves to be a dire threat to the future of the entire world.
