The challenging life of an ace mechanic, who loses the love of his life, and goes on a mystical life or death quest to learn how happiness works.

SYNOPSIS:

Born in a time of great hope for mankind, Rick Arthur was a very inquisitive child. Growing to manhood, he loved taking apart and fixing everything he could get his hands on. As one might expect, he also faced many serious tests and challenges. But he survived; became an ace aircraft mechanic, and bought an old English Tudor he completely rebuilt.

One fateful day, while out for a run in the park, there was Sandie! Cupid’s aim was true, and his arrows found their marks. And as is the case with most new lovers, 'twas pure heaven when they were together, and purgatory apart. Thankfully, Rick’s roller coaster ride ended in Nirvana. And for the next year, his life was far, far grander than he ever dreamed possible.

But alas, Sandie jumped at a once in a lifetime opportunity, and quickly left to pursue it. Rick was devastated beyond words, and his descent to the bowels of Hades was scary fast. Lost in a maze of the dead, Rick’s lifeless life was dying, and he knew he had to fix it; or he would have no reason for being. Thus began his life or death quest, to learn “How happiness works;” so he could fix his broken life, and never be that unhappy again.

Ferociously, Rick searched everywhere for this most elusive wisdom; all to no avail. Finally, in desperation, with hopes of “Tuning Up His Being,” he journeyed to an ancient mystical vortex in Sedona. But Olde #7 looked like a bad joke. So to find a real vortex, he climbed the majestic red rock mesa behind it. After his arduous climb: Rick took pictures of the magnificent scenery; ate lunch; did yoga, and asked the great Wizard of Time and Space for guidance.

Blessedly, with the help of Merlyn’s twin (brother, or sister); a five foot chameleon lizard with a wicked sense of humor; a smart-mouth Pal 7000 computer, and some very special people; Rick, and the rest of the world, discovers the mystically life-changing "7 Precepts of Happiness!"
