Stephen is a filmmaker, equally at ease with budgets and logistics as he is with the creative aspects. Born in Toledo, he served in the Air Force as an electronic technician before attending film school. After graduation from Columbia College, he worked for Metromedia, which became FOX Television during his tenure as Production Supervisor.
Stephen left FOX to co-write and produce the film, “Murder-In-Law”. After which he went freelance, producing music videos and commercials for Propaganda, DNA, O-Pictures, Cream Cheese and Picture Vision until co-founding Two-Headed Monster, where he operated as Head of Production, overseeing projects for clients like McCann-Ericsson, HBO, 20th Century Fox, Fox Television, Sony, and Showtime.
Stephen left Two-Headed Monster to pursue his creative side. He has directed photography on music videos, commercials, documentaries, shorts, and a feature film, co-produced the feature film “Lost In Plainview”, and wrote and produced the television pilot "Lessons From the Legends". His thriller, "Peeker" is a Page Award Bronze Prize winner. His screenplays, "Alexander Selkirk (The adventures of the True Crusoe)" and "The Firestone" are Page Award Semi-Finalists.
Stephen has worked in Russia, Japan, Australia, Mexico, and all over the U.S., and has extensive experience in editing, special effects, color correction, and audio mixing supervision. Stephen’s broad expertise and experience make him unique in an industry of specialists.
