About Jen

Jen has taken her extensive stage experience and branched out in to the world of Film and Television. She has worked both in front and behind the camera with independent and mainstream companies alike. She has training in comedy improv and clowning, attended UBC's theatre program and has studied with Matthew Harrison at the Actor's Foundry. She is currently studying with the amazing group at Straeon Acting Studios.

Jen's character and personality is that of a quirky, smart-ass, very funny young Tina Fey...witty, smart, always in control, and slightly comedically uptight. Hair up and in glasses, you get the Type A personality, the personal assistant, graduate school TA...the older, responsible sister. Think of the older, perfectionist sister of Natalie Portmann's character in Garden State. If Toni Collette had a niece - this would be Jen. Had she been born just a few years eariler, she would have played Elaine Benes on Seinfeld - her humor and wit is almost a reincarnation. Hair down, in a cocktail dress, she's surprisingly hot...the assistant who steals the boss's heart away. Though Jen still maintains strong comedic timing thanks to her classic comedy improv training.

Recent credits include a Canada-Wide Tim Horton's commercial, an appearance on Cineflix's 'Motives and Murders', the face of 'Restoration Guru's' online training platform, Lady Chiltern in Oscar Wilde's 'An Ideal Husband', Natalie Turner in the television pilot 'La Fontaine', stunt double for Esme Cullen in 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon', and most recently Agathe in SyFy's series 'Helix'.
