I got involved in media and production during my sophomore year of high school; I was heavily involved in the Telecommunication club, where we produced, directed, shot, anchored, and edited a morning announcement show every day. It wasn't until college where I decided that this is the industry I want to pursue, and began taking it more seriously; taking classes, making films, and I joined the student-run television department, UBTV.
This past year I've created and produced two shows; Cryptic Follies, which is a dramedy that follows a group of students who minor in saving the world. The other, more recent show, is called Free Parking, a sketch show which is a series of independent comedy sketches weaved together into an episode. I'm also currently a production assistant on a film directed by one of the film professors here at University at Buffalo. Producing and directing is what I love and what I want to do, and I'm looking forward to using this tool to advance my career.
