SYNOPSIS:

Bryant Grant Sr. aka Pops is ready to retire and enjoy his wealth. He calls together his six children BJ, Rahmel, Alexandra, Kennedy, Aneesa and Zenobia for Sunday dinner to reveal a surprise for his wife Bobbie and a trip to handle business in Atlanta. Pops has purchased a restaurant that he intends to help his wife operate. He wants to take a back seat to the numbers game and allow his children to take active roles in the family business. BJ introduces his mysterious fiancé Giselle Baptiste to the family. Aneesa the reformed drug addict agrees to help her mom and get her life together. Kennedy the ambitious attorney Pops has bodegas he uses as fronts for his numbers business. In Brooklyn, he owns a Jamaican bakery headed by Pasha Troy. Pops gave her an opportunity shortly after she came to New York from Jamaica with her brother and sister. Rahmel has a gripe with Pasha’s brother, Trevor Troy. The feud started when Trevor found out Rahmel slept with the love of his life(Bambi Dexter) while they were together. Rahmel only considered her as a fling and began dating Genesis Garcia aka GG. Rahmel and Trevor have had ongoing issues since as to who is the alpha male in the streets. Rahmel does not trust Pasha working for his family, and Trevor loathes the fact his sister works for Pops.
