About Leslie

Leslie M Weller is a screenwriter and author of the Stage32 "double recommended" psychological drama/thriller, What You See. Her screenplays are noted for novelty, style, and unexpected twists. Her forte is exposing the shadow side of human nature in additional genres that include futuristic thriller and sci-fi. Other angles of life are explored through family comedy and sharp political satire. She is finalizing a non-fiction about patterns in human behavior.

Having lived in Brazil, Europe, and across the US, she has met (and analyzed) diverse people, which has proven invaluable in building a variety of characters from their own voice and psychological perspective.

Mixing her background with education in science and political science (the latter which she insists isn't really a science), she brings an analytical approach to story craft, making the end product unusually detailed, novel, with every element uniquely intertwined.
