About Michael

I am 16 years old and have been playing the piano since I was 2 years old. I was born severely premature and lost my sight at 4 months of age. I started writing my own compositions at age 11 and produced and recorded my first CD at the age of 14. I am currently working on my second set for a new album and My mom is always right there supporting me. I do many "gigs" locally and recently aired on "The Real Winning Edge" TV show. My first album is labelled What Michael Sees and is the sound track for an upcoming documentary produced By Brian Barnette, Bits and Pieces Productions. Last year I held my first concert at Thalian Hall in Wilmington, NC. I have met David Brian with Bon Jovi which was really cool. I am a 100% braille reader, a straight a student in high school and plan on getting going to college. I have won several piano competitions locally, state and national. I want to really get out there and be the best I can be because I want everyone to hear my music.
