Television (Biography and News) Producer TAKE 3 is a 13 episode series that promotes the awareness of original, multi-ethnic and multicultural, feature-length films, and film shorts, that have been written, directed, or produced, primarily by independent filmmakers of color, women filmmakers and filmmakers in general that feature ethnically-diverse casting and well known popular actors. Most of the films featured in TAKE 3 have yet to receive theatrical release so a number of them have gone straight to DVD. Each half hour episode profiles four films/filmmakers from around the country, and around the world, and gives the audience an in-depth look into these dynamic films through film clips and interviews. Film (Drama and Mystery) Miscellaneous Crew This is a gentle, innocent film about the reflections of an aging man, who returns to his home town after the death of his best friend. Memories of life at age 11 floods back as it was a magical time that changed his life. Three 11 year old children (Bobby, Carol, and Sully) share their lives. Carol and Bobby have a special affection for one another including sharing a kiss "by which all others will be measured". Bobby lives with his mother, a bitter, vain woman who looks for pleasures for herself without sharing much with her son. Into their lives comes a mysterious new boarder, who befriends the boy but generates distrust from the mother. As time passes, the man and boy share confidences and special powers are revealed. The man warns the boy to be on the lookout for the "lowmen", who were seeking him. The two share a summer's adventures and come to love one another before the inevitable happens. The Long Kiss Goodnight (1996)
Film (Action, Crime, Drama, Mystery and 1 More) Location management Samantha Caine, suburban homemaker, is the ideal mom to her 8 year old daughter Caitlin. She lives in Honesdale, PA, has a job teaching school and makes the best Rice Krispie treats in town. But when she receives a bump on her head, she begins to remember small parts of her previous life as a lethal, top-secret agent. Her old chums in the Chapter are now out to kill her so she enlists the help of a cheap detective named Mitch. As Samantha remembers more and more of her previous life, she becomes deadlier and more resourceful. Both Mitch and Charly proceed to do the killing thing, the bleeding thing and the shooting thing.
