Born in Madrid in 1980, I have a degree in Journalism and a degree in Social Anthropology at the Universidad Complutense of Madrid with the research work Woman film collective: A feminist film experience in Mexico, that I developed at the University of Mexico.
Two years ago I decide to focus my professional career on filmmaking and production activity that I have been doing since I was a child and I made my first short films with my brother. Up to this moment I had been developing my career in the area of communication and cultural management, but to devote oneself to the cinema completely seemed to be reserved only to the chosen ones. In spite of the crisis and the difficulties in making independent cinema in my country I thought that it was time to try. It has been a hard three years, but I am happy because I am fighting to achieve my dream of making movies, and of being able to make them with a vision. What interests me in Cinema is the capacity to provoke reflection through the strength of the images. Cinema is vital in my life, my experiences and in my sight, and the perfect way to express and transmit emotions and find the stories that are waiting to be told.
