Taylor Beadle-Williams, trained in drama, singing, and all forms of dance, completed her Certificate IV in Performing Arts at Brent Street, before continuing her studies at Sydney University with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in music. Taylor Beadle-Williams has always had the performing arts in her veins.
One major asset Taylor has is her voice. She is a professional singer, currently performing at various established Sydney venues with originals funk/soul/jazz band, JUNK: www.junksydney.com, and with Sydney covers band, Vibe. Taylor is also a trained and professional dancer. Dancing since the age of 5, she was trained in RAD ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, lyrical, musical theatre etc. The last level she completed in RAD ballet was Advanced Foundation. Had she not fallen more in love with acting and singing, then she may have continued further with her ballet career. In her professional career, Taylor has been working various dancing jobs, for example, being balletic in a music video promo for Sydney health food store, Aboutlife: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1uyNp2c7M1o And, most recently, being in the Woolworths commercial as a dancer: https://vimeo.com/122279979
Always one to continue flexing her acting muscles, Taylor trains with various coaches, taking regular Advanced classes at SSAG, private coaching with Acting4Camera’s Paul Barry and many short courses and masterclasses, most recently attending AIPA’s invitation only advanced class with the US SVP of Features Casting for FOX, and Anthony Wong's Intensive Chubbuck Technique course.
The past 12 months has seen Taylor shoot 9 commercials, playing the Hero in TVCs such as Woolworths, The Sims 4 (US TVC), Mazda 3, news.com.au, Telstra, Hungry Jacks etc. In September 2013, Taylor was one of the last five girls in the world selected to play the leading role of Fran in Baz Luhrmann’s upcoming musical, Strictly Ballroom. She was flown down to Melbourne to meet and workshop with Baz Luhrmann, and, although she did not get the role in the end, she did have an incredible experience workshopping with Mr Luhrmann. Although her focus is not on musical theatre, it was an irresistible opportunity to test herself as a triple threat.
In 2014, besides shooting 4 of the 8 TVCs, Taylor played the lead in the music video 'Bring You Home' by German DJ, Dennis Sheperd, which was released worldwide in August 2014; she shot a new web series called PLANS, playing one of seven lead roles, to be released in 2015. Taylor played a minor role the US independent feature film, Amnesia (Who Are You?), directed by US filmmaker, Paul Kampf, which just won the award for Best Dramatic Film at the 19th Annual IFS Festival in LA. Taylor also completed two seasons of the Black Box Production of Trainspotting, one in Sydney, the other in Port Kembla, in which she played the only female in a cast of four - the production did not receive one negative review, and in September 2014, she also performed in a new independent theatre production for Sydney Fringe Festival 2014, called Ambrosia, with Grumpy Mandrakes Theatre.
Already in 2015, Taylor has played the lead in Bec Sandridge's music video for Red Jumper and has been shooting an ongoing TVC campaign for Woolworths, as a dancer. She has just wrapped a short film/long advertisement, Clarity, for Giorgio Armani's new Eyewear campaign 'Frames of Life,' and has also just completed shooting the new Gravox TVC.
