Barnaby Coxon

Barnaby Coxon is a freelance mixing engineer based in Los Angeles.

From a young age, Barnaby has had a passion for music. He excelled in high school with his deep musical knowledge and his saxophone and piano playing. He has recently received his Bachelor of Musical Arts (BMusArts) from the Christchurch Musical Arts school. He is very proficient and comfortable in a studio environment; as well as being taught traditional recording and production techniques, Barnaby enjoys researching the skills himself, and exploring different techniques in the studio, to get the best, and most fitting sounds to the project. Before studying production, he was a saxophone and piano player, this grew his understanding of music and gave him the skills to help with arrangements and musical aspects of anything he produces. He records on both Logic Pro x and Pro Tools 12.

Barnaby has worked with many different artists, with a broad range of genres from jazz to rock and classical. Recently Barnaby has found a passion for recording and mixing for film.
