Alaric has an MFA in digital cinema from DePaul University and a BM from Lawrence University. He is a currently a guest instructor at Tecnológico de Monterrey in Atizapán de Zaragoza, Mexico. Alaric’s area of research and expertise is in write/directing, Mexican cinema, film through psychology and sexuality in film. Alaric has been an ajunct at DePaul University, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Richland Community College. His work includes, short films, documentaries, music videos, and corporate videos. His work has been screened at many film festivals including the Chicago International Film Festival, the Illinois International Film Festival, the San Francisco Frozen Film Festival, the Seattle True Independent Film Festival. Internationally at Sitges, Spain and Sao Paulo, Brazil. His clients include the University of Illinois, Millennium Park Chicago, Cook County Jail, Educational Insights and more.
