I'm a university professor researching working lives, history and change, New forms of work, and people's stories of work. From a perspective critical of neoliberal orthodoxy, usually. I work alone, mostly, out of necessity, doing all my own writing, camera work, and editing. I work largely handheld and in the field but occasionally have studio access. My approach is ethnographic - I had some training at the Granada Centre for Visual Anthropology at the University of Manchester.
