Has written about films in the media (ARCADIA, Revista Cambio, Cuadernos de la Cinemateca Distrital, Revista SHOCK, Kinetoscopio and Esquire Colombia, among others) since 1994. Studied Social Communication at Universidad Externado de Colombia and script at Escuela San Antonio de los Baños (Cuba). Has been a film history professor at several universities. In 1997, founded and is presently director of LABORATORIOS BLACK VELVET, a cinematographic communications company. Current director and creator of IMAGINATION, a filminutes marathon, held simultaneously in 21 Colombian cities, and FIIVV (Festival Internacional In Vitro Visual – In Vitro Visual International Festival), Colombia’s main short films event. Has been editor for 10 years of PANTALLA COLOMBIA, a weekly digital newsletter about Colombian films. Has been communications director for over 20 Colombian feature films in the last 5 years and is current press director of the Cartagena Film Festival – FICCI.
