Paul Ashton

Paul Ashton is a Senior Film Executive at Creative England, where he leads the Sheffield talent team as part of the BFI NET.WORK to support new and emerging film-makers on the journey towards getting their first feature films made. He recently exec produced Rachel Tunnard’s BAFTA and BIFA nominated short EMOTIONAL FUSEBOX, and is currently an exec producer on her debut feature HOW TO LIVE YOURS starring Jodie Whittaker. Paul was previously Development Producer at BBC writersroom, and before that freelanced across film, television, radio and theatre. He has been involved in finding, developing and producing Academy- and BAFTA-nominated films, and BAFTA, RTS, SONY, PRIX ITALIA, IMISON and TINNISWOOD award-winning drama and comedy for television and radio.
