Previously a post-graduate arts student at University College Dublin, I have 20 years of international experience working in the promotion and production of film and multi-disciplinary arts projects, festivals and events.
Delivering events attended by more than 1million people, I have previously worked with the UK Film Council and Northern Ireland Screen on funding and developing international collaborations for Northern Ireland filmmakers through grants of up to 1million Euro.
I led Northern Ireland's cultural involvement in the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, delivering a programme valued at more than GBP£5million and played a significant role in plans for both the ni2012 and Derry-Londonderry UK City of Culture 2013 campaigns.
Most recently I built collaborative and strategic partnerships as Director of Creative Development at CAN: Cinema Arts Network, developing digital infrastructure throughout the UK across 15 of its leading cross-artform venues. I continue to be a Senior Producer at The Space and an Artistic Advisor for 1418 NOW.
I have curated film programmes at more than a dozen festivals at home and abroad. I have also commissioned or produced work across all major artforms with some of the world's leading artists and arts organisations: Hans Peter Kuhn, Deborah Warner, Fiona Shaw, Oscar Munoz, Robert Wilson, Artichoke, NI Opera, Happy Days Enniskillen International Beckett Festival, and Walk the Plank.
