About Dennis

Dennis is a Los Angeles based actor-comedian who began his career as a performer at Ithaca College in New York, he also received improvisational training from the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in NYC and the Massachusetts-based ImprovBoston (where he studied with Kids In The Hall’s Kevin McDonald). Dennis is part of 2 sketch groups: Sawyer and Hurley and Friends of Gertrude.

Dennis Hurley’s television and film credits include: The Daily Show, iOrigins (with Michael Pitt), Let Them Chirp A While, Villanelle, Inventory and his original film The Albino Code, a parody of The DaVinci Code which he wrote and starred in. His parody has been met with international acclaim, being featured on CNN, MSNBC, Inside Edition, Fox News and The Boston Globe in a review by top film critic Ty Burr.

Dennis has performed in the lead role in the original play Diamond In The Rough at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC. He has acted in such Off-Off Broadway productions as Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, Where’s Charlie?, Titus Andronicus, and his original comedic plays, Dating Grim and a live parody of the “SAW” films called Cutting Room Floor.

Coming Up… a role in Cinque Lee’s Javelin: Soul Mining, the role of “Ben” in Paracelsus Film’s Staying in Boston and finishing Post-Production on 2 Comedic Pilots – Friends of Gertrude: The Series and Pope Cop.
