My professional writing journey started while working in advertising for Coors, Hewlett-Packard, and VISA. My passion for compelling stories led me to recently complete the UCLA Professional Program in Screenwriting. My screenplays JOLLY'S CHRISTMAS, HOME TEAM BLUES, and BUGZ have consistently placed in top screenplay competitions and have made the Coverfly RED LIST. I adapted JOLLY'S CHRISTMAS into a picture book that has been published and well-received. I continue to write and also currently work as a reader and judge for film festivals.

Jolly’s Christmas was written as a screenplay and I adapted it into a picture book that has been published and very well received. The screenplay has placed in a number of top competitions and the book was a semifinalist in the Screencraft Cinematic Book Competition. Jolly is a young athletic moose who must overcome a devastating injury and battle poachers to pursue his dream of competing in the Winter Wonderland Games and flying like a reindeer. The story was inspired by the courage and determination of people with physical challenges. The journey has been rewarding and I continue to be dedicated to help physical challenges live full and active lives.
