About Gill
A keen amateur filmmaker, director (in film & theatre), editor and backstage trojen. I have a 1st class honours degree in English and Film Studies from Dundee University. My dissertation focussed on Terence Davies as an Auteur and I published on Bela Tarr and European Cinema. I love work by Wes Anderson, Edgar Wright, Herzog, Tarkovsky, Derek Jarman and Bela Tarr amongst others. And absolutely love TV shows such as Spaced, Rome, Oz, The Wire, The Shield, BSG etc etc. I love editing but my lifelong passion has always been directing, something i was unable to professionally pursue - now I get to do both theatre and film as a hobby.
