About Richard

I have been writing screenplays and plays for over 30 years.

EDUCATION:
MFA, New York University, Dramatic Writing.
BA, Dartmouth College, Drama (playwriting/theater criticism focus) modified by German

WRITING EXPERIENCE

Currently I'm at work on revising 3 screenplays that are in first draft mode. I am finishing up the ProSeries with 's Hal Croasmun with one of these scripts.

I have a treasure trove of stage plays to share with all sorts of theater professionals. My voice tends toward the comic and satiric, but I grew up in Littleton, Colorado and the Columbine massacre compelled me to write MY LITTLETON PLAY which is about my family with the town being a silent character.

ACTING/DIRECTING

I've also acted in a number of plays over the years. My favorite roles would be Captain Hook in "Peter Pan" and Mr. Harding in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest."

My day job is online astrologer for a marketing website. I'm a gay man living in Laramie, Wyoming which turns out to be a fabulous place to live.

Unique traits: I sing and hambone original music; have an absorptive mind with a liking for unusual factoids.
