About Karen

Karen Carpenter is the Producing Artistic Director of the William Inge Center for the Arts and the annual Inge Festival, which celebrates a significant playwright for distinguished achievement in the American Theater each spring. She is best known theatrically as the director of the smash hit, Love, Loss, and What I Wore, by Delia and Nora Ephron, which ran a record 3 years in NYC and has gone on to play all over the world. This year she will make her feature film directing debut on a contemporary adaptation of William Inge's novel, Good Luck, Miss Wyckoff.
