I am an aspiring filmmaker. Though my area of interest is in screenwriting, I would love to gain knowledge on the production aspect of film making. I was born in Haiti, where I've reside for 17 years. I had always been fond of movies even then, but it was only when I moved in the USA that my love for film blew up. Writing is my passion, may it be novel, scripts, or graphic novels. I've attended UCF and graduated with a degree in Cinema Studies with a minor in Mass Communication. Overall my experience at UCF haven't been satisfying. Struggling with rent, I've not utilized all opportunities handed to me within the program. As far as the program itself, I did not find it engaging nor profitable. I would like to say I like the narrative aspect of film whereas the UCF program prided itself within the Experimental aspect of film (a field needless to say I do not really care for). Whatever knowledge I've gained at UCF had been mediocre, so I've decided to invest my money in film books and study at my own pace. With 'Stage 32' I hope to gain access to the right clientele and hope to gain ample knowledge in the production aspect of film and secure a job for the near future and work my way within the industry. Stories, I have a lot, though being an amateur, the majority of them need fine tuning. I hope to gain what I seek within this site, that is my fondest wish. I am 29 years old, of African descent, and I am more than ready to live and breath all that is film and/or related to film.
