Graduated with a BA Film & Video arts in London, UK in 2008. After a few short gigs and internships with production companies, it was clear that a single job title with a 9 to 5 office wasn’t for me.
As a videographer and photographer, I’ve shot numerous short independent projects, over the years, developing and honing my technique and skills in both production and editing. Working with different types of genres, cameras, lighting and sound gear, post-production software, professional performers, and locations, has given me a broad spectrum of experience.
As an advocator of grassroots filmmaking, I was involved in managing the monthly short films screening event Rotoreliefs, held for over four years in London, aiming to provide a platform for up and coming filmmakers to showcase their work and network with other filmmakers and creatives.
As a professional video editor, I have worked freelance with several companies, working on various projects from from events and corporate videos to more recently documentaries and films.
As a writer, I have written a number of short and feature lengths scripts, some undeveloped, some novel adaptations, and also a foreign language script which have made its way to cinematic release.
I am also passionate about film education and have worked as teaching staff with schools such as the New York Film Academy, London Film School and Istanbul Media Academy among others.
As a creative with experience in writing, shooting, editing, directing, film exhibition and film education, spanning over the past 10 years, filmmaking isn’t just a job or a career, it’s a way of life.
Creativity is my religion, the camera is my brush, the world is my canvas.
