Roxanne Esquibel Hilburn is a fifth generation Mexican-American Mestiza from Texas now living in Los Angeles. She started working in production in Austin as an intern and then as a p.a. and coordinator. After moving to L.A. she worked as a post production coordinator and assistant before transitioning to ghostwriting short story fiction and online content full time. She writes complex diverse characters and enjoys the challenge of world building in contained locations. Roxanne has a B.A. in archaeology from the University of Texas and often uses history and anthropology to enrich her creative writing. When she’s not writing, you can find her volunteering three hundred hours a year at the La Brea Tar Pits helping to provide data on climate change.
