Scott Jon Satkowiak

So what? I made a short film. It was a student film. So? It won an award, so what? I mean, it is not even 100% finished yet. I went to school for over 2 years to learn cinema at a community College. It was good, better than I had thought it would be. I put hundreds of dollars into a short film that turned out great. I also compose soundtracks and edit. But at the heart of it all, I work. I didn't go into thinking that I would make a living making movies. I do it because I need to be create and express myself. I work because I need to live.

I am an electrician, most of the time. I often find myself unhappy unless I am creating and expressing so, I still make movies, always capturing video on my phone. I even challenged myself to make a movie completely with my phone. It was good, but it also took too much time.

So, who am I? I am Scott Jon Satkowiak. I am hungry for more. I am way ahead of the world in terms of ideas but behind a lot of people who actually make movies for a living.
