Lebanese/American, I started filming when I was 15, since then I have made tens of short films and documentaries that have won over 16 international awards and have screened in festivals in over 20 countries. I have run documentary filmmaking workshops in the UK, Lebanon and Croatia. I'm a Film and Media Arts major at the University of Tampa. I decided to become a filmmaker, because I found film to be a platform for me to unleash the anger I had towards society. My mother always told me, 'Jude you are a woman, an Arab and a Muslim, three things against you- you have a lot to be angry about.' I work for Scatter Brothers Productions and the St Pete Film Commission out of St. Petersburg, Fl. I've recently worked for Boykins Entertainment in Orlando and Dhrupad Communications in Bangladesh.
