Even, her own Father. But, all were exonerated. There were some tips. A handful of leads. But, they came up empty. The case grew cold and disappeared from the headlines. Her body has never been found. The tragedy took a terrible toll on the family. Her Father killed himself. Her Mother was despondent. Inconsolable. She went to sleep one night and never woke up. Since then, every year, once a year, on the date she disappeared, her siblings walk through the autumn forest behind their rural home. To be closer to her spirit. To walk the same steps she walked. And perhaps, find some clue that might lead to finding her. Or at least find out what happened. Each year, they find nothing. But this year, will be different. This year, as they walk through the forest, family secrets will be unearthed. Confessions, long hidden, will be heard. And, at the penultimate moment, the truth of their sister’s disappearance will finally be revealed.
