"Welcome To Hope.

Put On Your Coat And Stay Awhile!"

(Visitor welcome sign outside of Hope, New York)

There never was a town in greater need of a holiday scam or two sales reps in greater need of a town. When their boss thinks he has created the perfect sales team by pairing up nice guy Peter with obnoxious veteran media rep Phil Drake he sends them on a Night-Before-Christmas sales call to the tourist trap town of Hope. After ending up in the wrong place, serving time for a rash of charity thefts they didn't commit and losing their jobs, the pair write the book on how to extort money and ruin Hope's Annual Ice Hole Fishing Derby Contest. Posing as federal criminal investigators sent to investigate the crime spree, they enlist the aid of the mayor's office, the town flasher, and fall in with a prickly bar maid who wants nothing to do with the holidays or either one of them. With the help of her foul mouthed but adorable daughter the salesmen become unwitting Secret Santas in this seasonal holiday screenplay.
