SYNOPSIS:

The Uncles – Love is Love Mark and Robert met in their early 20’s and it was love at first sight. This story is of a gathering of their friends and family at the couple’s 50th anniversary. As with any gathering of family, we have some rough spots, and touchy subjects namely that of alcohol use and abuse. S¬¬everal of our characters deal with these issues in themselves and in those they love. Through it all The Uncles tells the stories of their first meeting, their first date, their wedding, and the many struggles of being a young Gay couple in the military, with the underlying theme of love wins, love conquers all. My hope is that through the telling of this true story, OUR story, we can show there is no difference, no 'us and them', it is all just love. With the recent historical ruling by the Supreme Court, it certainly makes this all the more relevant, more appealing to today's audiences. Come along with Uncles Mark and Robert as they tell their story, their true story of enduring love. See if they don’t touch your life in the same way they have so many others over the years.
